Dr. Lolita HanleyOwner
Dr. Lolita Hanley, PsyD, LMHC, LADC1, was born in St. Kitts, West Indies. She completed her BA at InterAmerican University. She graduated from Carlos Albizu University, San Juan, with a degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Hanley is licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Addiction Counselor. She grew up in a bilingual home, which now allows her to speak comfortably to both spanish and english speaking clients. She is a culturally sensitive clinician with expertise working with refugees from Iraq, Nepal, and Africa, to successfully navigate the challenges of the resettlement process. Dr. Hanley’s passions lie in providing services to the underserved, at-risk youths, and their families. She strives to facilitate life enrichment opportunities by offering services, such as conferences, consultations, personal development, and mental health groups.
Dr. Hanley possesses expertise in the area of trauma-informed care, Multicultural Counseling, Substance Use Disorders, and Forensic and Health Psychology. Dr. Hanley is engaged in ongoing professional development with specialized training in several evidence-based interventions, including CBT, MI, TF-CBT, DBT. She is a Certified Court Clinician Candidate I and II, enrolled in Umass Medical School, Forensic Psychology, Certification program, and is currently employed as a Court Clinician. In addition to her clinical assignments, Dr. Hanley has been a lead facilitator with the SAMSHA/DPH-funded Workforce Development Initiative, Black Addiction Counseling Education providing training to black substance abuse counselors.
